The Festival of Pacific Arts generates excitement, pride and promise for the arts and cultures in the region. It enables young contemporary artists and performers to express themselves and their talent in the Festival and bridges the gap between the cultural expressions of yesterday and the aspirations of the youth today. The Festival of Pacific Arts unites geographically isolated islands and creates the awareness, that although a group of people may reside far from each other, they are part of a greater Pacific culture. Recognition of a common Pacific identity can be a strong motivational force for individual communities to revive and cherish their own traditional forms of cultural expression.
Delegations consist of dancers, musicians, performing artists, craftspeople, painters, writers and traditional artisans. Through symposiums, discussions and workshops, the Festival brings together presenters, experts, artists and community leaders who will emphasize the challenges and opportunities facing Pacific Island cultures in the 21st century.

OPPORTUNITIES
Opportunities are readily available for companies who wish to contribute outside of the above packaged categories for higher amounts of contributions. The Festival Organizing Committee stands ready to negotiate with a corporation that wishes to contribute outside of the set categories, for benefits, concessions, recognition and advertisements.

In-kind sponsorship is welcomed for various Festival items.
The Festival has a variety of needs, large and small. Whatever you may be able to provide in return for promotion of your business is welcome.
Examples are:
Administration – Computers, photocopiers, fax machines, stationery, envelopes, mobile phones, etc.
Advertising – publicity sites, delegate badges, spaces in magazines or other media, website advertising and links, etc.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
PAYMENT:
Your payment commitment is requested to be paid in three installments:
1st installment: 50 % upon confirmation
2nd installment: 25% six months prior to the Festival
3rd installment: 25% one month prior to the Festival
CANCELLATION AND REFUND
All cancellations must be made in writing and will be based on the following schedule of refunds:
One year prior to Festival: Full refund less 10% administrative fees (based on total commitment)
Six months prior to Festival: 50% refund of total sponsorship commitment.
One month prior to Festival: No refund
SPONSORSHIP EXCLUSIVITY:
Exclusive sponsorship is possible only when no other sponsors have been confirmed, and is honored on a “first come, first served” basis. Please contact the Festival Committee Office.
CORPORATE RECOGNITION:
The visibility of each sponsor is always in direct relation to financial investment made by the sponsor.
While every effort will be made to accommodate sponsors’ suggestions for Festival promotional items or events, the Festival Organizing Committee reserves the right to refuse any such suggestions at its sole discretion.
